Cost

Client-therapist compatibility is key to therapeutic success. Therefore, your first session is free with no obligation to continue services should you determine that you are not compatible with the therapist. Special group programming costs vary according to duration of group.

For Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs):

Individual Therapy (60 minutes) – $150
Individual Therapy (45 minutes) – $110
Couples Therapy – $180

For Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCCs):
Individual Counseling – $160/hr
Couples Counseling – $200/hr
Family Counseling – 200/hr

*Rates are subject to change. Sliding fee is available in special circumstances.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash or check only. We do not accept credit cards.

LPCs do not bill insurance and have found that insurance companies generally do not cover their services. LPCs try to keep their rates affordable and in special cases will allow sliding fees. They will also provide a receipt upon request for Flex accounts or private insurance billing. Out of Pocket payment allows the most confidential and flexible treatment planning and delivery of services.

LPCCs will bill insurance at your request if they are a provider with your insurance company. You will be responsible for copayment at time of service. If services are covered by insurance, a diagnosis and considerable paperwork are usually required and remain part of your permanent medical record.
